Lauren Eckert, MS, LPC-IT

Hello! My name is Lauren Eckert, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor - In Training (LPC-IT) at Lighthouse Counseling. I am particularly passionate about working with teenagers and young adults. The teenage years can be a whirlwind, filled with the pressures of school, friendships, work, and family, all while figuring out who you are. But you don’t have to navigate this journey alone. Together, we will help you achieve balance in your relationships and responsibilities, gain a deeper understanding of yourself, and feel excited about the future! As your therapist, I will truly see and believe in you, supporting you as you find your path forward.

I completed my internship at Lighthouse and graduated in 2024 with a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marquette University. My journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Drug and Alcohol Studies from Minnesota State University, Mankato. I have experience working with clients ages 13 and up, helping them navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, attachment issues, relational dynamics, and more.

At the heart of my work is a commitment to creating a safe and empowering space for my clients. I draw on a variety of therapeutic approaches with a particular emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, to meet each client’s unique needs. I look forward to contributing to the transformative work at Lighthouse Counseling and being part of our clients' pursuit of well-being and resilience.
